Rapid Genetic Assessment of Carrot Varieties Based on AFLP Analysis

چکیده
It is necessary to regard the biodiversity of carrot as a genetic source useful and indispensable components for human diet. Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers were used discriminate eight genotypes with different root colors. With combination enzymes Tru9I, PstI, three sets primer pairs corresponding adapters joint restricted sites, 92 loci produced, including 60 polymorphic ones. Each showed high efficiency, according estimations PIC (0.34, 0.34, 0.41), D (0.36, 0.67, 0.67), Rp (5.5, 11.3, 15), HE (0.32, 0.49, 0.49). The distances calculated using values Nei’s coefficient. most genetically similar Chantenay Coeur Rouge Colmar at distance 0.12, whereas distant Saint Valery Purple Dragon highest 0.34. Confirming its identity, Gelber Goliath purple yellow roots detached varieties from others 0.23–0.34 0.23–0.28, respectively. Male sterile Berlicum breeding accessions well distinct other orange-colored 0.30 Deep F1. Slight modifications facilitation gel staining enables wide use AFLP method diversity assessment in accessions.

Assessment of Genetic Diversity in Croatian Winter Wheat Varieties Using Ssr and Aflp Markers
Genetic diversity relies on very complex statistical approach that involves variance among alleles at single gene loci, among several loci, between individuals within population and among populations (Smale, 1997). Nevertheless genetic base of crop plants population is also associated with responses to selection pressures. So plant breeding is based on detection and application of genetic varia...

Genetic diversity among Russian olive genotypes in three different regions of East-Azerbaijan province (includes Tabriz, Maragheh and Malekan) were assessed using morphological and molecular (AFLP) markers. Results of the quantitative and qualitative traits statistics showed a significant genetic variation among studied germplasm and categorized them in five distinguished groups. The most numbe...
متن کاملLoose AFLP based alternatives for the assessment of Distinctness , Uniformity and Stability of sugar beet varieties
Three approaches for addressing criteria for Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability (DUS) assessment by means of AFLP data are presented. AFLP data were obtained for three consecutive seed deliveries of 15 sugar beet varieties that were under investigation for the official Belgian list ('93, '94 and '95). In total, 696 AFLP markers were scored on 1350 plants. As a first approach, a cluster anal...
متن کاملGenetic Diversity and Population Structure of Liza klunzingeri from the Northern Persian Gulf Based on AFLP Analysis
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the genetic diversity and population structure of Liza klunzingeri in two regions of the Persian Gulf. In this study, the amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) was employed to analyze population genetic diversity between two populations (Ziyarat & Hendijan). Seven primer combinations (E-AAG/M-CTA, E-ACT/ M-CAA, E-ACT/ M-CTA, E-AAG/M-CTG,...
متن کاملModified AFLP technique for rapid genetic characterization in plants.
The standard amplified fragment-length polymorphism (AFLP) technique was modified to develop a convenient and reliable technique for rapid genetic characterization of plants. Modifications included (i) using one restriction enzyme, one adapter molecule and primer, (ii) incorporating formamide to generate more intense and uniform bands and (iii) using agarose gel electrophoresis. Sea oats (Uniol...
